And the Family Grows!

I'm still a little flabbergasted that I made my deadline for Ryan - well- that's not totally true - I turned it into my editor five days late, but close enough for her to still deal with it and for the book to hit the shelves as scheduled late this month. whew!  

It was not easy - as many of you know, Ryan is the last of the Oklahoma clan - the Construction Cousins - and I needed to reveal the mystery of the family feud.  Considering I only had a whisper of an inkling of what the problem was, I was thrilled when the resolution worked out. I will admit, I was concerned Mariah wasn't going to tell me what the heck went wrong - but - it came together and you'll finally get to read it for yourself. 

In Ryan, you're also going to meet a whole new branch of the family no one knew about and I think you're going to love it.  You can thank my husband's Irish family for pulling it all together - If any of you saw my blog posts over the summer of visiting the birthplace of my husband's grandmother, you might recognize some of what will come up in the next collection of Farradays- I think you're going to like it - at least I sure hope so! 

We are continuing to put the Honeysuckle books into boxed sets - the next one will release in April.  The next Honeysuckle book will be delayed a month to May.  It was just too close to the wire for Ryan and I simply can't spit out a decent story that fast - AND - spend some time with my new grandbaby!  

Yep - imagine that - the author of family sagas actually likes family LOL.   We didn't know what we were having. My daughter and son in law wanted to be surprised this time - but we have a baby girl. 7lbs 11oz and 20 inches long. She's the smallest of the three because she came with a C-section, but she's a real sweetie.  They had thought she would be bigger - they thought she was bigger a week ago and since natural delivery for the previous two got a bit stressful and baby two actually got stuck - we went the safe route and I am glad to report mom and baby are both doing great.
