Thanks for stopping by.
If you’re new to my website, I’m the author of over fifty romantic fiction novels, and a series of short stories I call  Flirts. I love to tell a story that sometimes makes you laugh, sometimes makes you cry, often has a surprise or two, but always ends happily ever after.

I live in North Texas with my husband, a rescued German Shepherd who believes himself to be the neighborhood goodwill ambassador (the German Shepherd, not my hubby),  a fifty-pound American Pit Bull who is convinced he's a lapdog.  Occasionally I get to puppysit my Golden Retriever  grandpuppy.  All dutifully sit at my feet as I write my next story.

So come on in, explore my pages, and see what's in store for you!

Decisions Decisions

So much going on in my world and slowly but surely decisions are being made

Today I am leaning toward continuing the Sweet series - Obviously, there are no more siblings to marry off - but the ranch and the family are proving well received. Originally, my concept for this series was one of military heroes and K9s saving each other - It's how Brady became a part of the family and why Sara Sue was a non profit worker placing displaced service dogs that need rehab to be rehomed.

Obviously, that's now how the series worked out. It sort of took off in a direction all its own. So now I needed to decide if I move on with the series or move onto a new series.

Frankly, I was leaning heavily towarding writing the fire fighter heroes from book two of the Hart Land series.  And I still plan to do that - but for now - I am leaning toward continuing with the Sweets as well.  So the question will be - how well can I juggle! Especially with a new grandbaby arriving in the Spring. Y'all are going to have to keep me in your prayers.  My mind is not fully made up - but I'm close!

And speaking of Sweets - Tomorrow is the release day for Sweet Tomorrows which is available NOW on my store if you don't want to wait!

Now  - the update on house hunting.  I am delighted to announce that my daughter and her family have an executed contract on a house - ready for this - around the corner from me! Can you think of anything more fun for a grandmother? I sure can't. I'm still not sure I believe they are no longer going to be a four hour drive from me! But here's the funny part.  Do y'all remember my posting a video on my youtube page about the halloween house around the corner? Those folks go into massive decoration mode - well - that's the house my kids are buying.  Of course, the neighborhood is going to be grossly disappointed next year when all they get for decorations is a few pumpkins on the front porch, but I find it terribly amusing.  Go ahead and pop over to my youtube page and see :)  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jHR_8O6vxwI&list=PL6l_TXWcJ1-jEhnc8SqIDhcuHrMFTD9vi&index=6

So - no more house hunting - yay! just work work work LOL - of course, they won't be moving in until the first of the year, but that's okay, more time for me with the grands ! LOL

That's it for today as I have lots of chapters to write!

take care,

yes! I am very very excited to be able to see this one more than once a month for a weekend - I'm hoping it will allow us to be much closer

How wonderful that they will be close by and congrats on another grandbaby. I would love to be closer to my older daughter and my granddaughter. It's not that I'm that far (about 20 miles) but it would help her out a lot.

after six years of them living four hours apart - i would have gladly taken 20 minutes - but yes - right around the corner should be great - especially when they get older and can ride their bikes to grandma and grandpas :)
