Last Day with Family

  I​This has been a family filled week for me.  As you know from last week’s blog, my  aunt and two of my cousins came for a visit to North Texas for the first time- well, my aunt was hear eight years ago for the first time, this is the first time for my two cousins. I have to say, even though we haven’t spent much time together since we were kids, it was a blast hanging out again. And let me tell you, can those ladies shop! LOL. 

Of course we did the standard tourist things (sorry no photos ) of the cattle drive statues and where Kennedy was killed and the real cattle drive at the Fort Worth Stockyards and the weekly rodeo. It’s always fun for the tourists.  
 
The downside is words on the page didn’t happen with all the driving around and dinners etc.  But I do promise to get working on Sweet Trust ASAP!
 
The other fun happening this week is that my friend’s house was finished up and went on the market – I think it turned out very well! I'm especially proud of how we managed to turn the small master bath into a bath with two sinks not one tiny space and keep the linen closet as well!  I'm really pleased with how the landscaping turned out in front too - simple but effective! 

Turned out great don't you think?  As for today - I'm about to head out the door to pick everyone up and go to the airport. The week went by super fast, but then again that old saying time flies when you're having fun comes to mind. 

I'm going to keep today short and sweet as I've got a lot of driving to do. I hope everyone enjoys the coming week and we'll visit next Monday!
