Thanks for stopping by.
If you’re new to my website, I’m the author of over fifty romantic fiction novels, and a series of short stories I call  Flirts. I love to tell a story that sometimes makes you laugh, sometimes makes you cry, often has a surprise or two, but always ends happily ever after.

I live in North Texas with my husband, a rescued German Shepherd who believes himself to be the neighborhood goodwill ambassador (the German Shepherd, not my hubby),  a fifty-pound American Pit Bull who is convinced he's a lapdog.  Occasionally I get to puppysit my Golden Retriever  grandpuppy.  All dutifully sit at my feet as I write my next story.

So come on in, explore my pages, and see what's in store for you!

Lots going on !

Oh it's been a busy week for this little author!  lol.

I actually didn't have very  much grandbaby duty because the other grandma was in town for the week so I only visited one afternoon and then again yesterday.  Today, it's back to helping mode. I'll be on my way over in a few minutes to watch the baby while mama does morning carpool with the older ones.  She's coming along well enough that she can do morning drive, but by afternoon Pawpaw is doing pick ups - that's too much for her still.  Hard to believe it's already been three weeks since the baby was born, almost four. And already, she feels so much bigger and heavier! I just love the newborn stage and already I'm starting to miss it since she's more alert and squirmy LOL.

I've been scrambling working on a bunch of translations - finally after almost three years of translating my books into German, we're doing French. I'm actually looking forward to having this done so someday I can do a booksigning in France.  Some of you may know I am actually conversational in French so it would be a load of fun for me to be able to meet readers and chat in person.  I'm also working on Sweet Devotion, the next book in the new K9 set of Honeysuckle Texas books set at the Sweet family ranch. By the end of April, we'll be starting on the new series.

Did I tell you that we decided by majority vote of the fans to return to Hart Land and do the firefighter series? I should have those up and ready for preorder before summer. This will be the first time a series releases one book at a time instead of dropping the first two or three at once.  Hopefully no one will mind!

Most importantly, Tomorrow (or tonight if you preordered on amazon or Apple) Ryan Farraday will be available everywhere (he's already for sale on my website)

Well - as you can see - never did get to finish the Blog on time!

Yesterday with the baby was long - she slept on Oma most of the day and then when my granddaughter came home it was time outside with her - I think of the two siblings, she's the one feeling the most 'left out' - so we're all trying to make a point of one on one time with her - mine was yesterday from five to six pm. Then it was Pawpa's turn.

here we have a couple of shots of happy Oma - and the weekend when pawpaw and the grands played in the hot tub - too cold for the big pool yet! it's not heated :)
Then, to add to the massive to do list - A friend's daughter who lives in California has a house here in dallas and her property manager dropped the ball, so - guess who gets to step in and spruce things up a bit to make it more appealing to a renter? Yep - yours truly! I love doing this kind of thing but it makes things pretty busy -

For those of you who love before and afters - here are a few shots. The first photo is the dining area from the living room - you can see it's a solid wall. This is a one car garage house with no access to the house from inside the garage - I figure working single women want the safety of access to the house without going back outside and moms with kids don't want to lug the groceries around the house in the rain and cold - so - we added a door to the garage- that's the second shot - the third is the access from the garage - easy peasy!
And of course the big news of the day - RYAN is here!   Run and get your copy - and let me know what you think of the Aunt Mariah resolution and the intro of Seamus!  And you can preorder Seamus too now!

Cutting it short since I'm late!  Hopefully will be more caught up next week!

What was I thinking?! I left a review at the end of "Ryan" and I mentioned that the Farradays are my favorites. They are. So are the Sweets, Harts, ... and every Keniston book that I'm reading/read. I am just excited to be waiting on the rest of the Farraday family. I saved a couple of the Honeysuckle Texas books and a few others to read while I wait for books to be added to some of the series.
No pressure, but it will be appreciated if you can write faster!!

Wow, a lot of information to reply to in this blog! First of all, your new grandbaby is absolutely adorable! And her big sister with Pawpa look like she'll be a heart-breaker when she's older, so sweet. I love babies, too. We won't get anymore now until the great-grandbabies. Our grandkids run from 4 years to 27 years, and there are 14 of them.
I did love the way the Aunt Mariah came to a solution. It wasn't bad enough to tear the family apart forever and makes you realize that talking things out is definitely necessary. I look forward reading about that part of the family.
I've been sick the last few weeks with no energy and just reading about everything you do is making me more tired! With all you get involved in and then adding renovating a home on top of it. Wow, I'd love to have you come help me sometime. ;)
Congratulations on the translation of your books to French and German! You could even do book signings in Quebec. Heck, I'd love it if you came to Ontario to do book signings, I'd be there in a heartbeat.
I"m excited to hear you'll be doing more Hart Land books, I did love that series. And Waikiki Wedding, more from that, too! With she Seamus side of the series coming too, you're going to be extra busy. Looking forward to all the new books!
I think I've combined replying to this blog and the email I got this morning in this post. So much to absorb but I love hearing about it all.

so glad to hear you were happy with it all and I can't imagine 14 grandkids - I only had two children and my son is a perpetual bachelor - he changes girlfriends as often as I change my sheets LOL - At least, with one grand being 27 already, you may get a great grand sooner than I get another grand! take care of yourself
