Chris Keniston is the USA TODAY bestselling author of more than sixty contemporary romances. Her books are known for close-knit families, memorable communities, loyal friendships, humor, heart, and satisfying happily-ever-afters.

Whether the story unfolds in Texas ranch country, beside a New England lake, on a Hawaiian beach, or aboard a cruise ship, Chris enjoys creating welcoming fictional worlds readers can return to throughout every series.

A native New Yorker, Chris was on her way to Australia when she fell in love with North Texas. Little did she know the balmy seventy-degree October days would turn into fry-an-egg-on-the-sidewalk heat in August!

Twenty years later, she started scribbling short stories about her favorite TV show characters, giving them lives more to her liking—as well as the elusive happy ending. Not long after, a dear friend dragged her to a local writers meeting. After winning multiple writing contests and making the finals in the Romance Writers of America’s prestigious Golden Heart contest, she now spends her days and nights writing contemporary romantic fiction with lots of emotion, plenty of surprises, and, of course, the happily ever after.
Chris is delighted to be partnered with bestselling authors Addison Cole and Nancy Naigle in the new cozy world, Main Street Romance. Set in the fictional town of Romance, Virginia, the Main Street Romance world offers readers and fans a place to find happy-ever-after heartwarming stories.

Chris lives in Texas with her husband and her Golden Retriever grand-puppy. Family is one of her greatest blessings, and she is especially delighted that her daughter and her family live just a few doors away.

​Her home—and her heart—have also been shared with several much-loved dogs whose memories remain part of the family story. For Chris, having loved ones close by means life is always filled with laughter, love, and plenty of happily-ever-afters.
