Thanks for stopping by.  If you’re new to my website, I’m the author of over fifty romantic fiction novels, and a series of short stories I call  Flirts. I love to tell a story that sometimes makes you laugh, sometimes makes you cry, often has a surprise or two, but always ends happily ever after.

I live in North Texas with my husband, a rescued German Shepherd who believes himself to be the neighborhood goodwill ambassador (the German Shepherd, not my hubby),  a fifty-pound American Pit Bull who is convinced he's a lapdog.  Occasionally I get to puppysit my Golden Retriever  grandpuppy.  All dutifully sit at my feet as I write my next story.

So come on in, explore my pages, and see what's in store for you!

Oh what a lovely start to the new year!  Last blog I left you off in Tortola. Next stop on the cruise was Guadaloupe. Another new to me island and so much bigger than I expected.
Not only was it a fun day exploring Guadeloupe, but I got to practice my French for three and half hours (our driver spoke no English) !  Our only mistake was not stopping to sample the local foods. I'm told the food in Guadeloupe is delicious.

Our next stop was Martinique, but it was a horribly cloudy day so we stayed on board. And when four women stay on board, what do you do?? Play RummyKube LOL.

But my favorite part of the trip - was spotting the Baron yacht. If you've forgotten, my next series is the Billionaire Baron's of Texas.  And of course like any good Billionaire family, the Barons own a yacht. Well they followed me to the Carribean and parked it in St. Maarten.  Isn't she pretty? LOL

Two more days at sea and the long awaited family trip was over. I'm still visiting with my aunts and spending time with all my cousins, most of whom I haven't seen in a good twenty years. The disadvantages of living across the country from each other.  I do promise as soon as I get home to Texas I will be back to writing the Barons. For those of you who don't want to wait for the official release, book one and two are available from my website.

until later! take care!

Oh my gosh, Chris, your trip looks amazing and the Baron yacht, wow, even better than I imagined when I read your books! You look beautiful, too. And thank you so much for the Christmas card. I hope your holiday was everything you wished for.

Oh but with a trip, company & food like you had, can the extra pounds matter? I say to myself I’m a grandma and my husband loves me no matter what. I’m not trying to impress anyone. And then I think, but I still want to look better! So yeah, I do get it.
Larry asked me last month to marry him again, to renew our vows. I was shocked! But wow, the love is flowing stronger as we plan for this summer. So I totally get not wanting to put on a few pounds…I wonder if I can loose enough to fit into my wedding dress? Lol I’m Like Supertramp sang, Dreamer…

well thankfully I didn't gain near as much weight as i thought I had - probably because I walked 10-15k steps every day! The biggest reason I want to lose the weight is that if I want to be dancing on new years eve when I'm 80 then I can't be carrying around extra tonnage :)
