This week is short and sweet – I have landed in not-so-sunny Florida for a writers conference. Even under the cloudy skies, it’s still nice to see the ocean.

Having grown up within a short drive to a handful of beaches on the East Coast, living so far away from water is one o the few downsides to North Texas. I’m hoping to get my fill of squawking birds and rolling waves to last me another year!

Will share more photos next week if the sun ever comes out

Just curious – anyone else enjoy walking on the beach?
