Thanks for stopping by.  If you’re new to my website, I’m the author of over thirty romantic fiction novels, and a series of short stories I call  Flirts. I love to tell a story that sometimes makes you laugh, sometimes makes you cry, often has a surprise or two, but always ends happily ever after.

I live in the Dallas area with my husband, a rescued German Shepherd who believes himself to be the neighborhood goodwill ambassador (the German Shepherd, not my hubby),  a fifty-pound American Pit Bull who is convinced he's a lapdog.  Occasionally I get to puppysit my Golden Retriever  grandpuppy.  All dutifully sit at my feet as I write my next story.

So come on in, explore my pages, and see what's in store for you!

Theme Songs

Do you have favorite tv shows or movies that the theme song just sticks with you?

I have my tv running in the background often while I write. I also watch older retro tv shows. One of my favorites is mission impossible. It’s on a local channel every night at 10pm.  But besides the show (and just between you and me the seasons with Martin Landau are my favorite) I adore that theme song. Dum dumdar dum dum dum lol. If you’re tired that will wake you up quickly!

Another theme song that is sure to wake me up is Hawaii FiveO. That one makes me want to dance, or learn to surf LOL. Okay maybe nor surf, but it is peppy.

There’s another theme song that always makes me smile. For me it’s like a sophisticated mission impossible, The Pink Panther. Not only do I love the song, I think the original movie with David Niven and Robert Wagner is great classic entertainment. But that tune makes me smile every time! Duru duru duru, duru, duru ….. LolLol. Admit it you hummed that didn’t you? Lol.

Now, not necessarily a favorite, but one everyone over forty knows… Gilligans Island. Who doesn’t know about that three hour tour? Lol!

I know this is a silly post, but honestly I’ve been thinking this for awhile, like right now while I have an episode of mission impossible on in the background, or Friday’s when I watch Hawaii fiveO.

If you have any favorite shows or theme songs share them now, let’s see if we all watched the same shows!

Used to love the theme from St. Elsewhere - and Hill Street Blues too. Can't really think of any current tv shows that stick with me.

The theme from Beverly Hills Cop. I used it as well as Mission Imp as a ring tone on earlier cell phones!!!

The Brady Bunch, The Monkeys, Lucy, Andy Griffith Show (love the whistling!), Beverly Hillbillies, Golden Girls, I Dream of Jeannie, Dick Van Dyke Show, Bonanza (one of my favs), Greatest American Hero, Carol Burnett, Green Acres, Mr. Ed, and of course Gilligan's Island! I think Cheers theme is one of the best ever. lol I used to watch a lot of TV, not so much now, I'd rather read a book.

brady bunch and beverly hillbillies has to be right up there with lyric recognition as gilligans island :) And I had forgotten greatest american hero - it even became a pop charts hit. - back in the day tv had reruns all day long for kids to enjoy - now it's paid programming and court tv - sigh
